In between moving across the world, getting married, renovating my place and changing jobs, it took a while to get it together, but now I’m here writing my first post and super excited about it! I want to share those fabulous finds, styling tips, sources of inspiration, my love of vintage, fashion and all things beautiful.
About me
My first love was fashion - my mother was & still is amazingly glamorous & stylish & was probably the biggest influence in the development of my addiction to all things beautiful. My serious addiction is collecting amazing vintage clothes & accessories (I’ve been doing it for more than 16 years!) I love bringing vintage & new pieces together to create something extraordinary & breaking fashion rules along the way.
Where did Vintage Queen come from?
I figure since I have collected and worn vintage for so long, I deserve the honorary title! I have a gift for knowing what to buy and the vision for creating unexpected style. I’m like the terminator when it comes to vintage shopping – I have a built-in radar that draws me to that special piece. When I do find it, I hear angels singing (seriously!), a ray of light shines down on that item, and with one gasp a huge rush comes over me and I am breathless! I love designer vintage and have some amazing pieces. What I really LOVE is rocking a killer no-name vintage dress with designer shoes or something current with an amazing vintage clutch or jewelry. I have my own style and feel no need to follow the trends. I make my own rules..
